Before starting PolicyX.com, I earned experience in top global insurance companies, banks, private equities & hedge funds as a part of my consulting assignments. I dedicated my time to a variety of high-end work like industry research, financial valuations, quantitative modelling, data analytics, etc. I’m also an Associate Member of the Indian Institute of Insurance, Pune as the Principal Officer. The idea of opening an insurance company dawned on me during my work at AIG in New York, doing valuation of their subsidiaries including AIG Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and UK.
11 years ago the insurer-to-consumer journey was complicated and inefficient- driving people away from investing in insurance. After identifying this market gap, I designed and launched PolicyX.com single-handedly.
